Q: What is Canvas & Conversation?

A: Canvas & Conversation is an art party/event business designed to come to your location and help you enjoy the painting experience and create a unique masterpiece. Similar to Paint and Sip or Wine and Canvas events that are happening across the country, Canvas & Conversation is an art-as-entertainment business. We guide you through how to create a painting in about 2-3 hours and have a great time doing it.

A: Canvas & Conversation will travel up to 50 miles of Evansville, IN for the standard party rate. Anything over 50 miles is an additional $25.

Q: Do you bring tables & chairs?

A: Only if needed. It is preferred that you have your own tables and chairs to use. A picnic table, kitchen table, card table, etc. will work. We will certainly cover them to protect them. We can bring tables if needed but may have to come the day before to drop them off or make two trips the day of the party.

It then can be applied towards your party fee or returned that night. Your check will not be cashed or credit card charged unless you cancel. If you need to, you may reschedule you party up to 72 hrs before without forfeiting your deposit.

Q: How is an Event different than an Art Party?

A: An Event is open to the public. Anyone can come paint. These are usually hosted by a business or Canvas & Conversation. There is a select painting for that night and everyone pays individually. An Art Party is a private party. It is just for your group. There is a set fee for those parties. Please refer to the party pricing page for details.

Q: What about food and drink?

A: Canvas & Conversation does not provide food or beverages. If you are hosting a private party, food and drink is up to the host. If you are going to an event not at Canvas & Conversation, then food and drink may be provided by the host. If not, then you are free to bring you own snacks and drinks. It just depends on the event or type of party and venue.

Q: Can I bring alcohol?

A: If it is a private event at your home or business, what you drink is your concern. Please drink responsibility and be over 21. Canvas & Conversation does not provide food or beverage. If the party or event is at a business that sells alcohol, then you may purchase it from that establishment.
